I started shooting at the age of 8 and competed as an archer for 20 years. In that time, I won 1 World University Championship, 7 national championships, 1 US Open, and an Individual Silver and Team Gold at the Pan Am Games. I also was a finalist for the 2004(7th) and 2008(5th) Olympic Team Trials, and I was a member of 3 Outdoor World Teams, 2 World University Championships Team, and 1 World Indoor Team. After finishing the 2008 Olympic Trials as the second alternate for the Olympic Team, I decided to retire from competing and focus more on helping others achieve their goals. I am now the assistant coach of the Resident Athlete Program located at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. I also have a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business from Texas A&M University.
